THANK YOU for choosing the Vineland Swap Meet in which to do business. We hope your stay will be a long and prosperous one. We are open seven days a week to serve you. The following information will help you get started as quickly and easily as possible.

1) You will need a “Seller’s Permit” with your name and this address:

This can be obtained from any Department of Tax and Fee Administration office. The nearest office is located at 1521 W. Cameron Ave. Suite 300 West Covina, CA 91793-1500 (626) 480-7200. Please be sure to give them your mailing address, mail cannot be accepted here.

2) You may sell used merchandise 2 times before you need a permit. We have a Standby Line that opens at 6:00am for GATE sales only.

3) If you sell any kind of food you will need a Health Permit. Call (626)430-0000. There are restrictions as to what kind of food may be sold here. Speak to a manager first.

4) If you are selling certain kind of furniture or bedding, you will need a permit from the Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Home Furnishings. Call (916) 999-2041.

5) If you are selling fruit plants, you will need a special permit from the Department of Agriculture. Call (916) 654-0466.

6) If you are selling certain types of merchandise like CDs or food items, you must have management permission. Some merchandise may be restricted on some days.

7) When you have all your permits, bring them along with your valid California Driver License or Matricula Consular to the Reservation Office at least one day before you intend to sell and have a Swap Meet I.D. made.

8) When you get your I.D. be sure to get a copy of the Swap Meet Rules & Regulations.
